Interesting but I’m not sure the Data Lakehouse architecture was created by Dremio and nowhere any mention to the people who came with the Lakehouse architecture in 2021 and what they was really trying to solve.
Agreed, I don’t think I was trying to say Dremio specifically created it, I am familiar with the paper you are referring to. But when it comes to really pushing more composable, open and iceberg based version of the data lakehouse Dremio was certainly one of the earliest advocates.
This permutation is probably better known as the “Open Lakehouse” (which is what I generally focus on) but regardless this article was mainly stating what is a lakehouse and the role the technologies I outlined play in a data lakehouse.

Too many want to take credit for it today or trying to twist what is really a Lakehouse architecture and it main components.
